Το δίκτυο Russia Today αναβιώνει τη Ρωσική Επανάσταση του 1917 με έναν πρωτότυπο τρόπο. Πώς θα παρακολουθούσαμε τις εξελίξεις αν το 1917 υπήρχε το twitter;
Στο πλαίσιο του project “Retweet the Revolution”, με το hashtag #1917live εμφανίζονται αναρτήσεις σε πραγματικό χρόνο από περίπου 50 υποτιθέμενους λογαριασμούς σημαντικών ιστορικών προσώπων, όπως του Τσάρου και του Λένιν, βουλευτών, στρατιωτικών και απλών ανθρώπων που παρακολουθούν τα γεγονότα.
Όλες οι προσωπικότητες και το περιεχόμενο των αναρτήσεων βασίζονται σε πραγματικά γεγονότα. Οι εξελίξεις ανακοινώνονται και από το λογαριασμό του “Russian Telegraph”, φανταστικής εφημερίδας που δημιουργήθηκε ειδικά για το project, το οποίο θα διαρκέσει για όλο το Φεβρουάριο.
